These Paris cooking tours adventure is the story of a long friendship between 2 French ladies living in Paris and their mutual desire to share their passion for cooking and their attachment to the Parisian way of living.  Their share their obsession for the best food, they search the best gourmet places in Paris, to cook with guests from all over the world and to meet new food friends and have fun!

Paris, the capital of gastronomy, is known worldwide for its prestigious restaurants and its famous brands. But Paris is before all the city of foodies. So follow us and enjoy a tasty adventure! In the friendly atmosphere of a private apartment, cook or bake like a Parisian! Or discover behind the scenes of a traditional French bakery, chocolatier…

  • All the rates for a minimum of 2 persons. Group rate applies for booking of 5 or more people

Private cheese workshops in the centre of Paris
Discover the secrets of French cheeses by meeting talented artisans who are passionate about high quality and French savoir-faire.
They are both very enthusiastic about the art of cheese, very welcoming and eager to share their knowledge.
Learn about the seasons, the regions and terroirs, the type of milk, the AOP and IGP label…
We have created 2 different workshop visits according to your time and your interest:
Cheese tasting and food tour in a foodie street
Start by getting your baguette like a real Parisians and meet in her shop, Ludivine, the cheesemonger, enjoy her stories and taste her selection of raw milk cheeses & charcuteries, paired with a glass of French wine.
Then a few blocks away, explore a famous food street and taste French specialities: olive oil, caramel, macarons …  (2 hours – at 11 am – 2 to 8 participants)

Private cheese workshop for cheese amateurs
We start by meeting in a famous street food just down Montmartre and taste our favourite selection of French delicacies (olive oil, CBS ‘caramel with salted butter’, a macaron…). Then we walk to a local cheesemonger for an exclusive private cheese tasting (you will have the shop for you !).  Alexandre, the passionate cheesemonger, gives all the keys to taste the cheeses in the best way and share his knowledge about variety, region, season and ageing. The raw milk cheeses come from small producers all around France. The cheeses are paired with 2 types of wines.(2 hours – 1 pm to 3 pm – minimum 4 to 8 participants)

Food Tour in Montorgueil

The pedestrian Montorgueil street has been hosting fresh food for centuries. Nowadays, trendy food stores are side by side with the oldest food shops and cafés of Paris. Discover the tiny shops inspired by the Slow Food movement offering high quality products from small producers. Then down the street, taste our selection of the most famous French specialities : a pastry from the oldest Parisian pastry shop, chocolates from an artisan chocolatier, raw milk cheeses … And if you are a cook crazy about any new kitchen utensils like us, we will go to our favorite shops close by.

Market tour in the 17 th – Like a local.
The 17th arrondissement is a non tourist neighborhood where we met and where started our friendship and the adventure of Succulent Paris. For 9 years, we have built up privileged relationships with artisans and shopkeepers. Start with a welcoming café and croissant before visiting a covered market and taste cheeses & bread. Then walk to rue de Levis, a famous street market in Paris. Explore our selection of food shops : from olive oil to honey, from chocolate to pastry.
What's included: cup of coffee with croissant, cheese tasting with bread, chocolates, mini-pastry and other tastings...

Gourmet Tour in Le Marais
Walking tour in a district rich with history (beautiful mansions, old jewish streets) to discover the oldest covered market and taste cheeses on site and then visit our selection of gourmet shops (one the best chocolatier in Paris, the most delicious bakery in the area, the oldest teashop of Paris, a pastry shop dedicated to éclairs, a spice shop run by the family for 2 centuries ...).

Gourmet Tour in Saint Germain des Prés
Off the beaten path on the Left Bank, a walking tour to discover our selection of food artisans: an open-air  market (Tuesday & Friday morning), olive oil, chocolate, pastry, tea, the original salted butter caramels, the famous Tropezienne. Enjoy a personalized tasting of luxury food samples by Valérie, the owner of nice little gourmet boutique. Ending in a typical cosy wine bar to taste cheeses with a glass of French wine.

Market tour in Aligre and Bastille (on Thursday)
Aligre market is one of the busiest and more colorful market in Paris. The open-air market offers a large range of fruits and vegetables whereas inside la Halle Beauvau, the 19 century covered market, in a more quiet atmosphere, stands propose cheeses, pastry, spices, meat, fsh … And then, to have a full experience of French market, visit the biggest weekly famers' market near Bastille.

Succulent Paris
Food Tour in Montmartre and the 9 th arrondissement Away from the most touristy spots of Montmartre, discover some of the best artisans in the neighborhood: a pastry from a talented pastry chef, a baguette from the awarded baker “Paris best baguette 2015”. Then down the hill explore the trendy rue des Martyrs, which has been offering for the last years many gourmet shops : from olive oils to the original “CBS”, salted butter caramels, from Parisian macarons to jams. End this walking tour with a cheese tasting with a glass of wine in a shop and restaurant specialized in cheeses.

Chocolate and Pastry Tour.

The 17th arrondissement offers a large density of chocolatiers: nothing less than 8 chocolatiers ! A very tasty walking tour to discover the secrets of artisanal chocolates, the creativity of pastry chefs… The tour starts with the visit of the workshop of Laurent, a young, talented and welcoming chocolatier. Then explore our favorite «sweet» shops (chocolate, macaron, pastry, confectioner...). To end with the tasting of a delicious pastry in a cosy salon de thé.
What's included : several chocolates,1 pastry, a viennoiserie, caramel, a pastry and a beverage, tea and honey.

In a Private Apartment:

Private Gourmet tour 
Market + cooking class + lunch: a glimpse into Parisians' daily life. In a non-tourist neighborhood, visit a traditional food market and purchase the ingredients of the menu. In the kitchen of a private apartment, cook an entire meal with a starter, a main dish, and a dessert. After an apéritif with Champagne, enjoy a delicious meal all together.
What's included: a cup of coffee, a full meal (starter, main dish, cheeses, dessert, bread, wine).

Baking Class
In a private kitchen, learn to bake three traditional French recipes such as madeleines, chocolate moelleux with caramel, a clafoutis, a fruit tart … according to the season and to the participants (children).

Pouchkinette, Eclair de Génie, La Maison du Chou... the choux has become THE trendy pastry. Learn to cook a perfectly risen chou by making traditional cheese Gougères (from Burgundy) and sweet Chou à la crème.

Macaron Class 
In the kitchen of a private apartment, bake chocolate macarons and madeleines from scratch. You will discover all the steps, the meringue and the ganache, and the tips so that you can bake macarons back home.

In Professional Workshops:

Chocolate class  
An exclusive chocolate class in Paris into the workshop of a talented chocolatier to learn about cocoa and chocolate, discover the process to make ganache and praliné. Help the chocolatier in one of these steps and write your name on a chocolate bar. Enjoy a tasting of delicious chocolates.
