Born and raised in the South West of France, Christian Blondeau spent the first 20 years of his professional life in 5* Hospitality management in France, UK, Greece and Australia.
Founder of France at Leisure in 2002, Christian Blondeau thought that Australians and Queenslanders in particular deserved their own professional French Travel service to offer true and practical advice for travellers to experience what this rich country in history, tradition and beauty has to offer.
Christian has traveled and experienced most regions of France and has experienced most of the products and services that the business offers. With the assistance of the French Tourist Bureau, Christian travels every year to search for new products and services to continue the business purpose and tradition of offering top quality products to the Australian travellers.
Christian is passionate about France and enjoys mostly sharing his knowledge to assist Australian travellers to design their own itinerary, to experience what the country has to offer in History, Culture, savoir Faire and joie de vivre.

Lisa de Cossé Brissac
Senior International Consultant

Lisa has been with us at France at Leisure since 2005.
Married to a French national and bilingual, Lisa lived in France for 12 years before moving back to her hometown of Brisbane.
During her time in France Lisa managed a Chateau Hotel property in the Loire valley, worked and studied in Paris and travelled extensively throughout Europe and in particular, rural France.
Prior to settling down Lisa worked three ski seasons in the French and Swiss resorts of Val dIsere, Meribel and Verbier. Having skied in all majors French alps resorts and attending the international Grand Ski Trade Show every year in France, Lisa has taken the responsibility of all France at Leisure Ski Holidays programmes.
Admitting to being a travel junkie, she has also travelled extensively throughout Asia, Africa and the Pacific.

Edwige
Consultant

Edwige is originally from Brittany in the northwest of France, but mostly lived in Paris which she knows very well.
She has a degree in Tourism and has worked 8 years in the travel industry in France, USA, French Polynesia and Australia.
Before arriving in Australia, Edwige mostly worked with hotel chains and wholesale companies which gave her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout France and Europe. After many years dealing with Tour operator and Travel Agents, she has a sound understanding of their expectations and needs in regards to hotels, tours and excursions.
Prior to the Rugby World Cup in France, Edwige met with Christian at a trade show in Paris and decided to join the France at Leisure team for this huge project (where the business provided packages for over 750 rugby discerning supporters). After the success of RWC - France 2007 Edwige took the responsibility of the entire business communication with French suppliers and selecting their products and services, designing group itineraries and packages.
