HELICE - L’ESCARGOTIER BEAUNOIS - Welcome to Hélice, L’Escargotier Beaunois (Beaune Snail Seller). We are a specialised snail-selling shop. You can buy snails sold cooked on the plate or by the tub. You will find all kinds of snail dishes and appetisers. Well also offer all kinds of objects that represent this gastropod whose virtues are also available in the form of cosmetics. And if you have a craving for snails at any time, you can come and enjoy 12 Burgundy snails and a glass of white wine for 13

APPELLATION CHOCOLAT - Chocolatiers/ice cream makers Béatrice and Michel Dessolins invite you to discover their many specialities: the pearls of the great wines, gingerbread and Burgundy fruit ganaches... Seasonal fruit ice creams and sorbets.

FERME FRUIROUGE - TASTING & SHOPPING - Located out in the countryside, on the Nuits-Saint-Georges plateau, 3 km from Château du Clos de Vougeot, near the vineyards of Romanée-Conti, Fruirouge Farm stands in the hamlet of Concoeur, on Place de l’Eglise. Old-style production techniques using fruits grown on the farm and processed on site. Production, processing and sale of jams and fruit butters, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and condiments (vinegar, mustard and blackcurrant ketchup), not forgetting the famous blackcurrant fruit jellies. Through the history of our family, the Oliviers, four generations of farmers, discover the wealth of rural heritage of our region. Reception for tasting and sales. Tours available (in several languages including French sign language). Members of the Culinary College of France recognised Quality Producer-Craftsman, and France Passion (camper vans welcome). Ambassador for the «Climats of Burgundy».


 FOOD ACTIVITIES

THE COOK’S ATELIER  - The Cook’s Atelier is a small cooking school in the heart of Burgundy, France that highlights the connection between the farmer and the cook through market tours, hands-on cooking classes and workshops. Our cooking school is at the forefront of the Slow Food movement in support of local farmers and sustainable food. Located in the outbuildings of Château d’Entre-Deux-Monts, we offer half-day discoveries of Burgundy truffle and where it grows. 1/ Truffle digging demonstration, introduction to truffle growing, Burgundy truffles and where they grow. 2/ Tasting or meal based on truffle products sold by Or des Valois. 3/ Guided tour of Château d’Entre-Deux-Monts (depending on the number of people and the availability of the owner). Gastronomy : We offer fresh truffles in season accompanied by terrines and other derivative products throughout the year.
Example of products available: rabbit terrine, guinea fowl, pork with Burgundy truffles where all the terrines are 8% stuffed with Tuber Uncinatum, Burgundy truffle mustard, the now famous Ratatruffe and «Truffillé» (ham with parsley and Burgundy truffle).

Caroline and Nunzio make you feel right at home at Agastache, a small restaurant they have created in the heart of their village house. In an old-style setting with its contemporary decor, the place is intimate and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. Nunzio’s cooking isn’t set in stone, but instead tends to change with the seasons.
He draws his inspiration from whatever happens to be in season, be it fresh herbs, organic vegetables, farmhouse meats etc, provided by his friends, all small-scale local producers.

L’AGASTACHE - Stunning views. Farm products. Garden vegetables (with  no chemicals). Refined cooking and charcuterie (pigs raised outdoors with no GMOs). Option to visit the farm. 

FERME DE LA CHAUME DES BUIS RESTAURANTS - The warmth and simplicity of the welcome, the discreet and attentive service, the quality and creativity of the cooking which brings out the nobility of the products used: it’s all brought together to offer you pleasure and an irresistible desire to taste each recipe. Inside, there’s a gentle, warm atmosphere, while there’s the terrace in fine weather. Either way, just give us a try, and we’ll make your time spent with us a special experience.

RESTAURANT LA GOUTTE D’OR - A well-known eatery among the locals, Romain Escoffier offers sincere and sublime seasonal cuisine, served up amid a friendly atmosphere. Shoulder of lamb, soft-boiled egg with butternut Cantal-style, pork Bigorre ... The menu has a tendency to expand at times. To accompany each dish, there’s a wine list that’s just as extensive. And if you fancy it, the Table du Square offers «aperitifs», served at the bar between 6.00 and 8.00 pm!

LA TABLE DU SQUARE - A gourmet dining experience with a fixed menu and inventive cuisine that varies regularly. The wine list is  xceptional ... the big names from Burgundy include Raveneau, Dauvissant, Coche-Dury, Michel Bouzereau, Groffier, Roumier and Roulot. Very friendly service with perfect timing, the dishes are superb and the flavours surprise with their clean, bold taste. Cosy room, very tasteful, open kitchen, elevated to give the impression of a theatre stage.
