The 12 passenger L'Impressionniste, sister ship to La Belle Epoque, began life as a cargo barge in Holland before undergoing a complete transformation into the powerful canal and river cruiser she is today. Her light and airy interior features picture windows and selections of prints, fabrics and wall colorings reminiscent of the turn of the century era after which she has been named. She offers a sun-deck, spa pool, 12 bikes, and an always open inclusive bar.

A choice of single cabin, stateroom or junior suite is available and we can offer both double or twin bed configuration. All cabins are air conditioned and have en-suite facilities. She is crewed by a knowledgeable Captain, Master Chef, Tour Guide and two Housekeepers who will assure you have everything you need on your all inclusive vacation.

Just four privileged passengers travel in Orient-Express style aboard what is one of the most luxurious barges in France. The craft is yours as you float along the tree-shaded Canal du Midi between Carcassonne and Béziers.

On deck, stretch out on a sun lounger, beneath a sheltering parasol, to view the passing villages and fields. Or step inside, where the spacious lounge—with its huge picture windows—has a library, writing desk and soft armchairs.

Delicious meals are created by a cordon bleu chef using ingredients brought on board from the markets that you pass. Come the end of the day, two delightful cabins, with en-suite showers, provide a wonderful retreat.

The 8 passenger Anjodi is of classic Dutch design, specifically rebuilt to navigate the 300 year old Canal du Midi. She has been completely re-furbished in the tasteful tradition of African hardwoods, hand-crafted panelling and shining brass, creating a comfortable and charming ambiance.

Anjodi's highly professional crew of four is comprised of Master Chef, Tour guide and Housekeeper, led by a knowledgeable and experienced Captain who will ensure your cruise is memorable and more. The 8-passenger L'Art de Vivre was renovated in 2009 now offering four reconfigured cabins of 100 - 110 sq ft including newly tiled ensuite bathrooms. Each cabin can be configured with two twin beds or a queen bed. The barge has a comfortable salon with dining table and a sundeck with jacuzzi and loung chairs. It started life as a Scottish munitions carrier and survived long enough to be transformed by a team of skilled craftsmen into a floating celebration of the Burgundian "good life". Your crew of four comprises Captain, Tour guide, Master Chef and Hostess, all with a love for the Nivernais canal, and a knowledge that their vessel represents L'Art de Vivre itself.
