Bomme Battlefields Day Tour 

France at Leisure’s local partner in the Somme is the longest established Australian battlefield tour company for the western front battlefields.
As a professional tour guide he specializes in taking Australians to memorials, battlefields, military cemeteries and to visit the grave sites of fallen relatives and friends. Whether your interest is personal or historical, these tours are extremely informative.

Here are just a few of the places visited during the tour:

• Visit the Adelaide cemetery, Villers Bretonneux Franco-Australian museum and school, Australian national memorial, Albert, Pozieres, Beaumont Hamel trench park, Lochnagar Crater, Australian 1st and 2nd division Memorials… Should you have specific requests for visits, they should be done at the time of booking.

The Tour departs from Amiens train station at 10am – returning to Amiens train station at approximately 5.30pm - Minibus to max 8 people.
Train depart from Paris Gare du Nord at 8.04a.m. or 8.20a.m.

All ingredients are fresh and selected by the Chef from local suppliers. Luncheons usually consist of a buffet with a choice of starters, hot and cold main courses, cheeses and desserts. Dinners are served at table.
A wide selection of cheeses from all over France will be served and introduced by the crew according to the tradition.

A great selection of local fine wines will be proposed as well, all wines come from local wineries and are tasted and chosen by us before they reach your table.

The Chef and the wine master always try to achieve the perfect match between food and wines. Your dietary requests and personal preferences will be taken into account, and we will be happy as well to celebrate your special occasions like birthday or anniversary with a special cake!
